Lillian Stewart Carl writes in multiple genres at multiple lengths. Her work often features paranormal/fantasy themes and always features plots based on mythology, history, and archaeology.

With John Helfers, Carl edited a retrospective on Lois McMaster Bujold’s science fiction work, THE VORKOSIGAN COMPANION (Baen Books, 2008), which was nominated for a Hugo award.
