Lou Antonelli has had 58 short stories published in the past eight years in the U.S., U.K., Canada and Australia in venues such as Asimov’s Science Fiction, Jim Baen’s Universe, Dark Recesses, Greatest Uncommon Denominator, and Andromeda Spaceways In-flight Magazine. He has had eleven honorable mentions in “The Year’s Best Science Fiction” (St. Martin’s Press, Gardner Dozois, ed.) since 2004. His short story “Great White Ship” is forthcoming this spring from Daily Science Fiction.
His Texas-themed reprint collection “Fantastic Texas” was published in 2009 and another collection, “Texas & Other Planets”, was published by the Merry Blacksmith Press in 2010. Yard Dog Press in 2011 published his chapbook collection of four collaboration stories with Portland, Oregon-based author Ed Morris, “Music for Four Hands”.
He lives in Mount Pleasant, Texas, with his wife, Patricia (Randolph), and is managing editor of the Mount Pleasant Daily Tribune.
