Dusty Rainbolt is an award-winning cat writer according to her answering machine. She recently stopped writing on her cats because they move around too much and ink got on the furniture. She’s the author of Cat Wrangling Made Easy: Maintaining Peace and Sanity in Your Multicat Home, Ghost Cats: Human Encounters with Feline Spirits, and Kittens For Dummies (yes, one of the famous Dummies series.) She’s also the author of a humorous science fiction novel, All the Marbles, and co-author of The Four Redheads of the Apocalypse (written with three other redheaded authors). The sequel Apocalypse Now will be out this year. She writes the monthly feline advice columns, “Dear Hobbes” and Ask Einstein. In her real job, Dusty is the product editor for Catnip published by Tufts University School of Veterinary Medicine. She also freelances for Cat Fancy and anyone else whose checks don’t bounce. Over her cat writing career she has won 11 Muse Medallions and 23 special awards from the Cat Writers’ Association.
