The Crowne Plaza Suites Dallas Park Central is an award winning, all-suite atrium style luxury hotel located at the Northwest corner of LBJ Freeway (I-635) and Coit Road.
Convention Rate:
$105/night, for 1-4 guests in a double/double or king room.
All rooms are full 2-room suites with separate bedroom and parlor room with fold-out sofa, a kitchenette with refrigerator, sink, and microwave, a bathroom, and free wireless-high speed internet access.
The cutoff date for reservations is Tuesday, January 17th, 2012 Thursday, January 26th, 2012.
Our rate will be good for the 16th through 20th – important for those arriving early or staying until Monday!
Late Checkout
Late checkouts are not automatic – and there may be a fee for that. (Attendees at conventions that book the hotel starting Sunday night would like to check into a clean room at 3PM, just as you’d like to get into on at 3 on Friday!)
Guests may check-in after 3:00 pm on day of arrival; Check-out is noon.
Smoking note
All common areas of the hotel are non-smoking. However, the hotel does have some smoking sleep rooms available.
Restaurant
All ConDFW attendees receive a 10% discount in the hotel restaurant
Reserving the Room
The con room booking code is CD8. The booking code specifically for the active floor is A6F.
Please make sure, when making in a reservation, to refer to either the group name or the booking code.
To make reservations:
1. Call Direct to Crowne Plaza Suites: 972-233-7600, “Option 2”, and reference group code CD8 or A6F.
2. Hotel Website: www.cpdallas.com, click on “Reservations” and enter your arrival and departure information. Then click on the “Corporate/Group” field. Under Group Code enter CD8 or A6F and click “Check Availability”.
The group cutoff date for reservations is Thursday, January 26th, 2012.
Active Floors
When you make your room reservation, please be sure to request a room on the ACTIVE floor if you plan to get rowdy. :) We do have an ACTIVE floor designation this year, but they won’t know to put you there if you don’t request it! Also, we have had problems in the past with reserving ACTIVE rooms by telephone, as the person answering the phone doesn’t always realize what that means. So try to reserve ONLINE if you are requesting an ACTIVE room, as that hasn’t been a problem so far.
If you get to the hotel and have been placed on a quiet floor when you asked for an active floor, or vice versa, please come up to Con Ops and let us know! We can intercede with the hotel for you.
I live in town! Why should I stay at the hotel?!
Don’t forget, even if you live locally, there are many good reasons to reserve yourself a hotel room. You can enjoy the convention into the wee hours and not have to worry about driving home. It’s more convienent, gives you a place to store your treasures from the dealers’ room, and offers you a place for that perfect nap. Lastly, it helps support the convention. Every room-night sold helps us reduce the cost of the convention space.
